Join us for the Triangle Yarn Crawl – Spring 2013 Event, a self-guided tour of local yarn shops in the Triangle-area, taking place on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th. Participation is free and open to the public.
Triangle Yarn Crawl is excited to announce The Hunt, a casual scavenger hunt of local yarn shops. The Hunt will take place alongside the crawl and features two local designers: Mari Chiba of Mari Knits and Rohn Strong of Strong and Stone. Participants who complete The Hunt and unscramble a word phrase qualify to download a free pattern from one of the designers. For information about The Hunt, please visit triangleyarncrawl.wordpress.com/the-hunt.
Event registration opens February 20th through Eventbrite. Registrants will receive an email confirmation with a PDF of his/her ticket, which serves as the Crawl Passport. Be sure to have your Crawl Passport stamped at each local yarn shop. To register, please visit http://triangleyarncrawlspring2013.eventbrite.com.
For the Spring Event, we’ll have a total of 10 raffle prizes available to give away:
- Each participating local yarn shop will have a raffle prize full of goodies. Just ask for your raffle ticket when you arrive at each shop.
- And if you visit all nine participating shops and turn in your Crawl Passport at the last shop you visit, you’re automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Be sure to legibly write your name and telephone number on your passport.
Mingle with fellow crawlers during the Crawl Kickoff at Great Yarns on Saturday, March 23rd from 9-10am. We’ll have refreshments, baked goods and surprises for those who attend.
